Do I need to update more?
I never really know what to say on this to be honest with you all. When I made this blog, I thought 'Oh yeah, my life is some-what fun, I could sooo run a blog based on it'...wrong!
Today my day has consisted of College, like every day! Although College may seem just like a steeping stone from High School to University to some, trust me it is hard! One of my biggest pet-hates is that people don't realise how much work I actually have to do. Working 6-7 hours a day, having coursework deadlines for each subject (normally all on the same day also) and then finding the time to revise these subjects is something I have almost learnt to deal with. If all of this wasn't bad enough anyway, I then have work...like real 'I get paid for doing this' work. It's hard to do all of this, s'all I'm saying.
Posting an update on my current situation with University, I don't think I want to go...not just yet anyway. I spoke to my form teacher who is supposed to be there for guidance and she told me I'm making a huge mistake. Is it really that bad that I feel I need at least one year out of education in order to breathe? When I spoke to her (which was about one month ago), she said she would speak to me in more detail the week after and we would discuss it properly...I'm still waiting. Yeah I get it, a decision like this is something I need to learn to make on my own but when I have people saying how much of a mistake I'm making by not going, then others saying how much of a mistake I'll make if I go, it's hard for me to come to a definite decision on what do/who to please.
If I take one year out, what will I do? I don't want to spend the rest of my life wasting time on what my future is going to consist of. If I go to University, what if I don't like the course I am on? I don't want to have to pay the stupidly ridiculous amount of £9000 just to study something for three months..? There are definitely more pros than cons to me not going to University.
I suppose I just made a decision...
Right, I'm going to try and work out how to post my stories on here. If by the time you're reading this and it's like three months into the future and there are still no stories, you know I'm still trying to work out how to do it and make it look some-what presentable.
Thanks for reading, guys.
